The authorities have banned access to İstanbul's Gezi Park -- which the government attempted to demolish in late May of 2013, triggering nationwide anti-government demonstrations -- and Taksim Square next to the park on the occasion of the second anniversary of the Gezi protests.

Merhaba Ethan,
This is real a daily life picture when I see the people with mask for the tear-gas.
I know not much of the Turkish politic, I hear here Turkish people in Ghent with different stories about Turkey
But also this picture is again excellent photographed.
Pleasant depth and perspective.
An excellent composition, nice presentation.
Sharpness and clarity are very good done.
