Photographer's Note

More from our trip to the north of Israel last fall:
A view of the north part of the Hula valley (pronounces Khu-La), where its nature reserve is a major stop-over point for the migrating birds en-route Africa in the autumn, back to the north in spring.
Location of the small lake, which is called Agmon (free translation of a small lake) is due south to right side of the picture, at 33.105, 35.607 on the map. See the WS with a view due SE.
It is a re-gained land from what was marsh-land big lake dried out in the 1950th. The Golan-Heights plateau is well seen from the spot taken this with the dormant two volcanos on the very far side.

With the Lebanon border just 5 km behind me – it is less than 28km aerial distance to the Syrian border just behind those volcanos.

I suggest to see the map on a “satellite view”, for better understanding of the area.

Technicals: RAW, F11.0, 1/160, ISO100.
