It's time to swim and bathe in the deepest point of the Earth's surface, the Dead Sea, natural border between Israel and Jordan. The heat is stifling, very hot water, and the high density of the salt dissolved in the water can not sink. It is a unique experience.

Hola David,
The autumn is the best time to visit the Dead-sea, the great heat is gone and yet winter cold is weeks away.
Also, since your visit the water had receded even to lower scale bellow sea-level.
I know the place you taken this photo, and point of view towards the mountains, means you were standing in water while shooting.
Your describtion is accurate, hope you had best of times there.
