This is a carved stone by Ahmad Nadalian, the fameous Iranian sculptor who is welknown for his stone fish and other stone carvings.
Vali Asr Ave, formerly known as Pahlavi, is the longest avenue in Iran and also middle east. It connects the south of Tehran to the north and so many important places are located in this destrict. It used to be one of the most beautiful and most populated areasof Tehran. Recently, the municipality of tehran has decided to renew the apearance of this avenue and the photo depicts a small part of this undergoing project. Mellat Park , Safavid Bazar , the City theatre & the Eskan Shopping centre are located in this avenue.
