Photographer's Note

It is the season of Inverted Tulips and this is my 3rd shot of that rare species.

The inverted tulip is one of the species of Fritillaria. The genus Fritillaria belongs to the Liliaceae or Lily family and in Iran we mostly call it " Laleh-ye- vazhegon" ( Inverted Tulip ). It is also known as " Ashk-e-Maryam" (Tears of Mary) ; because of the dropping dews that sounds like drops of tear. This plant is native to Iran and reached Austria in 1576.
It grows in some mountain slopes located in center and west of Iran , usually in second month of the spring and is seen in different colours such as yellow, orange and brown.
