Photographer's Note

In a hot climate it is important to avoid dangerous dehydration.
I was sitting at another table taking care of my health when I saw this woman with a beer diagonally below another woman with a baby.

This is from the square outside the Faneromeni Church in South Nicosia. The church was built in 1872 in a mixture of architectural styles. To quote Wikipedia, "the square is a meeting point for the anarchist movement of Cyprus, anti-authoritarians, libertarians, many artists and musicians. It is also a stronghold of the antifascist movement on the island". Someone responsible for the site has added: "citation needed".

This is another one of my photos in the category of "nothing special". 32 degrees Celsius is nothing special in a Mediterranean, Mid-Eastern context, the church is really nothing special and this light lager tastes the same as light lagers all over the world.

Nothing special, but quite all right for the struggle against dehydration on a hot day.

Here is a larger version.
