Photographer's Note

During a walk on the coast we came across these colonies of Cormorants basking on the rocks. They looked very majestic against the incoming waves. I presumed they had spent the day at sea and were now enjoying the late afternoon sun, drying their wings and digesting their catch.

I was travelling light so didn't have a long zoom with me, but was able to capture them in the context of their surroundings.

Shutter at a fast shutter speed to keep the birds sharp and freeze the movement of the sea.

Thanks for looking
Craig
