Photographer's Note

Good Morning Everyone,

Yesterday, I posted a photograph of an insect house so it seemed appropriate to follow it with one of an insect!

There were lots of wild flowers in the hedgerows in Norfolk and consequently more butterflies than I ever see at home.

You would have had a good laugh watching me quietly pursue this butterfly down a small lane. At last, it landed on some leaves for a brief moment and I was just able to get a photograph before it fluttered off in a rapid, zigzag motion.

I am no expert on butterflies so would be interested to know what our TE experts Luciano and Silvio think about this specimen. It is not so colourful or patterned as some of the butterflies that they post, from Italy. I suppose this one doesn't want to look too conspicuous or it will get eaten!

I have looked on line and think I have identified it as a gamekeeper butterfly but, I'd love to hear what others think.

Have a great w/e, Bev :-)
