Photographer's Note

Loch Katrine is the main water supply for Glasgow. This is a very beautiful loch with several small islands. This picture was taken in rain near the eastern end of the loch away from the crowds of the pier. The autumnal colours shone through the mist. The two swans were a bonus.

Interesting, Scotch Mist is a Lancashire/Yorkshire term meaning something that does not exist. Quite an apt title considering that I uploaded it yesterday and the day before but quickly deleted it because the colours were dull and not the same as on my monitor. I know that John (Tyro,) who is often quick off the mark, had even commented on it and then saw it disappear! It seems that I had the colour space incorrectly set on my new PS software. So let's hope this one is O.K. and sorry for the Scotch Mist John!
