Photographer's Note
While travelling through Switzerland we passed Lake Thun between Bern and Interlaken. The mid summer weather was incredible and the locals were making the most of it, swimming in the lake, boating and having picnics. It seemed to be a recreational paradise. The mountain you can see in the background is the Niederhorn (1950m) which watches over lake Thun and surrounds. Of course in the cooler months all these peaks are covered in snow and ice. The town of Interlaken (just visible in the distance across the lake) sits on a narrow isthmus of land and separates lake Thun from slightly smaller Lake Brienz. We travelled through this area and onwards to Lauterbrunnen deeper in the alps before visiting the Jungfraujoch the next day.

Hi Matthew,
I tried to add the points to the other photo of yours that I left a critic on yesterday - but I can't - It is an amazing photo that deserved 10 points...
For today this photo taken in Switzerland is really very nice I love all the little boats etc; on the lake - Excellent sharpness clarity & colours are wonderful.

Hi Matt,
A beautifully clear and colourful photo. The clouds are well exposed and add a lot to the photo. Lake Thun is one my favourite places in Switzerland - there is so much to do and see around the lake.
