Photographer's Note

Being a child is not a matter of age. Sometimes wisdom comes very early in life, unattended , unexpected, unwanted, like a throne on wheels. Sometimes were forced to grow up against our will, just because life didnt want us to have the same pace as the majority of those surrounding us. Being excluded, for one reason or another, is not only being accused of difference, but also being named as abnormal.

My thoughts are with all those who are different. And even though social standards try to relegate them to the gutter, I think they stand above us all, the average lucky ones, and bring wisdom to the world as a flagship even before were through having our diapers changed.

There are veils, in some children eyes, stating theyve left their childhood already behind them, even if against their will. Theres nothing to be proud of in that. Lets just try to give them a scent of their childhood back.
