Photographer's Note

Stadshuset is the Town hall of Stockholm. Its plans were drawn up by the architect Ragnar stberg and construction was completed in 1923. Built in a romantic national style, Stadshuset shelters the famous Blue Hall (Bla hall in Swedish) where is held each year the annual Banquet of the Nobel Prize. The building is drawn up at the end of Kungsholmen. The gardens plunging in the lake Mlaren give a pretty point of view on Gamla Stan and Riddarholmen, which constitute the two principal islands of the old center. The photo one was taken of Riddarholmen at 22h45, a public bench acting as tripod.
