The city of Montemor o Novo is a Portuguese city in the district of Evora, Alentejo region, is situated between Lisbon and Spain, the central node of the main roads that connect the center and south of Portugal, was the birthplace of St John of God, born 1495 and founder of the Order of Brothers Hospitallers, is a land crossed more and less known in Portugal, with a rich cultural heritage and expressed as a beautiful eighteenth-century manor houses, churches and convents in multiple linking Manueline and Baroque altars rich with unforgettable frescoes and tiles, the memory of these times coexists peacefully with the present.
