Photographer's Note

Building Curvo Semedo cine theatre in Montemor o Novo, Portuguese city of Evora district, was a large hall in the city in the twentieth century, is currently used in cultural activities such as movie screenings, concerts and theatre, was built under designed by architect Raul Lino, to replace the Montemorense Theatre destroyed by fire in 1922.
The works began in 1925, but only in 1960 took place the inauguration of this area, named after the poet of Montemor City, Belchior Curved Semedo (1766-1838).
