Chapel of Saint Anthony
Airily situated on a hilltop, has an altar to display boards with seven miracles of the saint

The Town of Castro Marim is an inevitable historical landmark, as its majestic Castle and its strategic position that permitted excellent accesses either by sea or by land, confirm.

Castro Marim is a typical town with the traditional Algarve architecture: with its white walls with brightly-painted borders, their flat roofs and their ornate chimneys sculpted into lace-like patterns.

Looking out from Castro Marim castle you have the sea on one side and on the other the rounded shape hills as far as one can see. These are the uplands challenging those who like bird-watching, to walk or to cycle, and who appreciate the charming of the natural world, that is at its best in the Natural Reserve of the Sapal.
