Wonderful place and such a wonderful exposition... A must if you're planing to visit Oslo.

A new series... Direction >>> Nordkapp
I've recovered some negatives from 10 years ago and scaned them in a photo lab. Don't think to make a travelogue because I know only aproximative where I was driving ;))

Pictures were taken with borrowed P&S camera Olympus Myu on just normal 200 ISO Fuji film.

Have a nice week ;))

Hi Tomi - the POV is excellent, the arched walls & ceiling make a great frame for the main exhibit. The grain in the image is really nice did you use B&W film or is this a conversion?

Excellent picture. The POV is very good and the B&W excellent. All that grain is original or was it a result of the scanning? Well done.

Hi Tomi.
It's a pity the image was scanned. A really pity.
Nice POV, the contrasts are lovely.

What a fantastic POV you had. The arch of the building makes a perfect frame for the ship. By converting to B&W you have used the scan noise in your favour as grain. Nice one Tomi.

Hej Tomi,
This looks like a very nice and interesting museum, which I unfortunately haven't visited yet. It's a very nice view of this room with both the viking ship and some of the other visitors. You made well use of the arch and I think B&W was a good choice here. Well done!

Hi Tomi,
The vertical format works well here to emphasize proportions. I like the POV, as if we are looking down, with the people warming the scene. Despite the age of the photo, your scan has retained most of the quality. Well captured, Tomi.

Hi Tomi,
Maybe we can help you with your trip from 10 years ago. It could become a nice TE-game. This is the definitively the museum in Oslo. Did you also visit the Fram-museum?
The Black&White fits very well by the old memories.

Hi Tomi
I like very much your chosen POV. The arch of the wall on the right frames well and it can't have been easy exposing well with such extremeties of light. I like the graininess of the shot too. Another good one from your archives.
Best wishes

Ciao Tomi,
ottimo b/n d'epoca, in un formato verticale appropriato. Come giΰ detto da altri, la granulositΰ ha giocato in tuo favore, dando all'immagine un bel effetto di "vecchio".
Ciao e stammi bene!

Hi Tomi,
For a decade old photo and scanned from negative, the result is pretty good. I just feel that you could have avoided the OE on the right, keeping it to the bare minimum.
