After Internet Brands takeover of TE many active members have left the site or stopped posting new photos in protest to the way Internet Brands runs the site.
From October 2009 this is also valid for me.

Hi Jack, it is a pity that this chair is still empty. But who knows? Some TE members return even after they the deleted their galleries, so I still hope that they will miss TE and will be welcomed here.
Beautiful photo, I like this birch tree growing near the water. Interesting a bit dark mood.

Hi, Jack. A grey sky, like the one hanging over our heads here at TE? The trees and the grass stand well out against it. The symbolic empty chair is well placed in the picture, contrasting with the vegetation in the background. So, if this is your latest picture on TE, fare well and I'm sure we'll meet elsewhere on the net.

Nice shot......allthough it seems to be your last here.
I regret yuour decision, but I can understand as I'm thinking myself of leaving TE. I did not make up my mind yet.
I hope you will go on taking photos. I'm an admirer of your work. Maybe I will see some of it again, somewhere, somewhen on the www.

Hello Jack,

A) love the composition and colors in this photo.
B) interesting comment. I left TE for a while and am just getting back into it and your note explains the differences I have encountered. I miss all my TE friends, though...
