Photographer's Note

The Ridderzaal is a building in the courtyard Binnenhof of the Netherlands parliament.
It was built in the 13th century as a Gothic castle. The building has a representative hall called also Ridderzaal.
The hall was formerly used as: a ballroom, marketplace, place for selling books, pre-trial detention, cadet training room and a place for state lottery draws.
Today it is used for state ceremonies.
