Photographer's Note
The Hague is one of the best cities to cycle in. Almost every main street has dedicated cycle paths, there are numerous bicycle lock-ups, plenty of bicycles for hire, and a good repair shop is never far away.
The Hague is also a relatively small city. Residents can reach most of their destinations in 20 minutes and cycling from one end of the city to the other takes around 45 minutes. It is certainly an easy, healthy and environmentally-friendly option for getting about in The Hague with its more than 250 kilometres of bicycle paths.

Hello Daniel,
These buildings are immaculate and give an excellent sense of depth from this nicely angled aspect. I particularly like the one which boasts red and blue colours.
The row of bicycles, pavement dining and absence of motor vehicles, paints a very healthy picture of the lifestyle of the citizens.

J'aime beaucoup cette composition. J'aime les facades qui s'illuminent sous cette lumiθre qui fait ressortir les couleurs. Comme toujours les bicyclettes prennent la vedette en Hollande.

I do not ride a bicycle, so I felt a bit unsafe in Amsterdam with the bikers everywhere. Maybe in Hague it is better. Nice scene. Lovely composition and colors.

The bicycle is most use in the city, quiet, easy to parking.
Always very close to the place of destination.
You create nice depth and perspective.

Good morning Daniel,
I like your theme on the Netherlands where there are bikes in a lot of pictures. This is so typical of the country, and oozes a certain art of living while protecting the environment.
To top it all, the street you chose to photograph is so elegantly stylish, with a nice contrast between the beige bricks and the white surroundings.

A great photo of this street and the many bicycles parked outside the faηades of these stately houses. The light is very appealing and especially the red and blue colours of the windows in the centre are eye-catching.
