Photographer's Note

We are continuing the tour through Zeeuws Vlaanderen and end up in Sint-Kruis, a community near Aardenburg.
This village also lies on the Belgian-Dutch border and there are some nice creeks in the area. I was trying to get a nice picture of the only monument in this little place and when walking around, I came up with this view.
Land: the soil in front
Water: the waterpump
Light: the lantarn
God: the church which is like looking from above over all the other things.
I liked the succession here from small in front to higher in the back.
I don't know anything about the church or the village. The church has an architecture that is quite typical for the polder area here and when walking around it, I saw many different construction layers. So, I think this building must have been larger once.
Due to the low sun, it seems that the lantarn is lit, but actually it isn't.
I hope you like this. Ciao!
