Again a picture taken middle of the winter between Aardenburg and Sint Kruis in Zeeland on 10km of my home.
These are one of the most beautiful places for walkers and bikers, the calm, the waterbirds and and alone farmers are active in this countryside area.
It's was a cold day but with a lot sun, a very well day for a simple but pleasant picture to make.

The Eekloose Watergang is a semi-natural watercourse located on Dutch territory located between Smedekensbrugge (south of Aardenburg ) and St. Laureins and a length of approximately 7 km.
The Eekloose Watergang was dug around 1300 as Turfvaart to spot extracted peat disposal.
In this watercourse are numerous remains from creek, as the Old Rush Creek and the Creek valley , which come together in the Groote Gat , and the Cross Creek and the Creek Block . These creeks formed by the inundations of 1583 , causing the watercourse Eekloose a semi-natural character.
Today is the Eekloose Watergang a natural area of 26 ha, which is owned by Forestry Commission . In 2009 there was a walkway along the Eekloose Watergang constructed.
