Photographer's Note
I took this picture very early in the morning 1 mile about the borders of Netherlands, look for a good weather picture. It's was a very lovely morning without wind and little bit misty in depth background, I found this very pastorale with the horse in foreground
Every Thursday I take pictures for the regional TV station, the weather man show than different pictures in connection of the weather together with a other member on TE "Lukie". This picture was Thursday on TV.

Bonjour, mon ami John,
Une bien jolie composition champêtre. La rosée couvre encore l'herbe du petit matin, le cheval semble indifférent à la froidure environnante et à la beauté du soleil levant.

deze omgeving heb ik 2 keer gefietst
maar ik herken de plek niet.
De workshop vind ik geen verbetering,
deze foto hoort niet te scherp te zijn.

Well composed with the early morning light really setting the mood, as the horse quiety grazes with the sun rising. You captured the ball of fire at a decisive moment with the trees partly silhouetted near the horizon. Superb clarity of detail and a well chosen exposure level. Well captured, John.

Dag, John. Het witte paard zorgt voor een goede voorgrond. Zijn kleur komt goed uit op de weide en de lucht erachter. De sfeer van de prille morgen wordt hier goed weergegeven. Misschien is er een klein gebrek aan scherpte.

Hi John, amazing view, but i think a little bit too poor on quality, specially for the saturated and overexposed light.
the composition and the POV are both excellent as the really beautiful, peacefull and relaxing view on that field with the lonely horse.

soms gaan de foto's op het weerbericht zo vlug, dat ik ze me dikwijls niet herinner, zoals deze. Ik weet zelfs niet meer welke foto's van mij getoond werden (zou in feite beter het weerbericht opnemen...). Dit is een hele mooie, met een prachtige hemel.

Mooie tegenlicht foto John.
goed compositie gekozen, niet eenvoudig, dat is een feit. Niet slecht zeker niet, maar na zo een ongelofelijke serie valt deze mij een beetje tegen. Maar dat is persoonlijk John en dit ligt zeker niet aan U fotografie, verder is hij weer keurig verzorgt en proficiat dat deze op tv is gekomen. goed werk John.

Hi John. I also noticed the rather soft appearance when opening the picture, but I have thought a bit about the suggested sharpening and I am not 100% sure that the resulting photo would be "better" - maybe the softer presentation goes along better with the slightly hazy autumnal mood, and the general pastoral feel of the scene. Pleasant photo and nice color scheme as well. Greetings from Tokyo.

precies een hele discussie over de scherpte... Persoonlijk vind ik het kon een tikkeltje scherper, maar niet zo scherp als in de ws. Het paard is een schitterend element in dit beeld; het geeft het ochtendgloren meer leven en diepte. Een toch wel heldere foto om zo vroeg genomen te zijn; goed gewerkt met de mogelijkheden van je materiaal!

Good image, maybe a bit blurred by a bit long exposure which reminds me of an old style film photo. What I know is that certainly there is much postprocessing and that it was done masterfully.
