Photographer's Note

When confronted by large-scale works of art, some will stop to gaze and be awed, and some will not.

This is the front of Vilnius Cathedral. It is probably the most important church in Lithuania, and is a symbol to Lithuanians of their independence and religious freedom. During Soviet times it had to function as an art gallery rather than as a church.
