The contrast of their dark suits against the red brickwork is excellent.

Hi Gert, Who was expecting something? You the to capture newly weds or these guy the wedding reception? They have funny expressions, smooth men :), and I also like the black shoes. It amazes me always how you like weddings. Here we do not see the young couple but we see the preparations and the guests. I must look if I have some wedding pictures :). In Stockholm it was too cold, even with mild winter :), to see any.
This bažnyčia was my favourite in Vilnius. But there was one church that I missed. Just after I returned home I met a friend and he asked me- have you seen St. Peter and St. Paul's Church in the Antakalnis? I haven't. Knowing me you can imagine I was very upset :) I must go once more to Vilnius, I have some Coach Surfing friends there and it is not far.

great picture and great title:) The scene is flowing and it's very elegant with the black suits, the sunglasses, the well cropped brick and cobblestone context and, of course, the smiles. Theere's a sense of complicity and anticipation, a moment of contentment. Photographer and subjects made this picture both vibrant and stylish. I like the workshop pictures too, the interesting daily life scene and the "postcard":) Congratulations and thank you!

on a side note...i know these guys are attending a wedding, but i never did get into the 'suit' attire or business attire. Getting dressed in a suit and tie everyday going to work REALLY is NOT my style - i'm much more laid back and informal.

Give me comfortable shoes anyday over those dressy shoes :)

as for the photo itself, yeah...good idea to exit the ceremony if its taking too long. at least you got yourself some shots outdoors - the lighting is better here anyways.

the bg red brick stands out for sure.

Two young men with bottles of wine and a nice gift.
When she not are the partner of bride no troubles, after almost 55 year, I shall a little know the difference.
Sharpness and clarity are wonderful.

Hello Gert,

Your main picture might not be "beautiful" though the two workshop ones are - but this one is definitely "fun" and a perfect capture of daily life, these two young wedding guests making their way apace while laden with "goodies" for the forthcoming wedding celebrations and no doubt looking forward to some food, drink and revelry themselves.

This is a perfect capture, very well seen and taken on the spur of the moment and of excellent quality. Your other two pictures are more considered and show both the fine facade of this brick built church and the gaily dressed wedding guests.

And, as always, an interesting note.

I see two subjects here, Gert: those two guys on their way to party, smiling and happy for the moment.

Good timing and strong contrast, the striding figures are nicely placed. A thought, trying to put my critique hat on; I'm wondering if shallow dof might take eliminate some distraction from the harsh background which imho, is a bit disturbing. The composition and basic simplicity make it. Well done.

both have the same suit and the same window which portrait and scene in the capture and while walking as they carry the carton and the basket and this almost orange ocher background. good idea and result dear Gert . Congratulations.

I think that this photo has all its place in TE's gallery. That's a nice scene you've captured, these two men smiling, preparing some drinks for wedding. The minimalism of your composition, with few colours and onl the two characters, makes it more impactful.
