Photographer's Note

The Tre Oci palazzo was built on Venice's south island Giudecca in 1913. It currently houses exhibitions of contemporary art, with the main focus on photography. When I was there, it had David Lachapelle's Lost + Found on display.
The name of the building refers to the three "oci" in its facade. This is the view on the San Polo sestiere on the opposite side of the Canale Della Giudecca, as seen through one of the three "eyes".
