Photographer's Note

The Uzeda Gate enters the magnificent Dome Square in Catania (Piazza del Duomo).
It links the seminary, archbishop's quarters, and Sant'Agata cathedral. The gate was built on 15th century's walls, from Charles V and dedicated to the Spanish viceroy, Juan Francisco Pacheco, Duque of Uceda who ruled this part of Italy between 1687 and 1696.
