Photographer's Note

The weather in Iceland is constantly changing. All of a sudden a photo opportunity emerges when you least expect it. This photo was taken on the way back to my hotel after having visited the Hallgrmskirkja, the Church seen on the left hand side in the photo. The church was designed in 1937 by the Islandic architect Gujn Samelsson. The construction of the church started in 1948 and was not finished until 1986. The height of the spire is 74.5 meters. It is the landmark no. 1 of Reykjavik
