Photographer's Note

I said we had not a lot of time driving on the road 1 from Skaftafell national park, here is the reason why : we had booked seats for a cruise on Jkulsrln glacier lake ! Oh not on a liner, but just on small amphibian vehicles (you can have a look on them in workshop). It was a very pleasant one hour long cruise. From there you have a different POV on the lake and you can see the icebergs close. Some of them are very strange, such as this one that looks like a piece of gruyere. But you should not go too close to the icebergs since they could topple suddenly at any time. And you should not be too close when it happens ...
