Photographer's Note

Interrupting my Flea Market series, I present you my latest photo taken in the Zemplιn National Park. Today was the 63rd anniversary of the 1956 revolution, thus a national holiday, a day off the work. Since I'm not a big fan of any state-organised commemoration, I decided to make 13,6 km long hike with 650 evaluation in the Zemplιn Mountains. The fact that the weather was nice also made me go for the hiking: it was ca. 24 Celsius in October! I cannot recall, when was the last time I hiked wearing only a T-shirt in October.
The place I visited, Peter's Thunder-stone is one of the few panorama places in Hungary, where you have such a clear panorama. In the WS you can see that the route was rather picturesque too. - Not to mention, that it is a region with significant Slovakian minority (or at least with people of Slovakian ascendants), so one can try their cuisine after the long hiking. Sadly enough drinking one-single beer and driving is not allowed in Hungary. :(
