Photographer's Note

This is a street in Rosenheim on a very rainy day in last summer. In the evening I heard in the newscast that it had poured 51 liters per square meter this day ... Nevertheless, we made a round tour there ...

Rosenheim is a town in Upper Bavaria with about 60.000 inhabitants. It is situated about 60 km southeast of Munich. The Old town of Rosenheim really is picturesque with its wonderful arcades. We loved them this day ;-)

My photo shows "Heiliggeiststraίe" (Holy Spirit Street), named after "Heilig-Geist-Kirche" (Holy Spirit church) there. You can see it right hand in the row of houses with its baroque onion dome. It was built in 1449

In the background you can see Max-Joseph-Square and the steeple of the main parish church of Rosenheim, St. Nikolaus, built in 1641. It's the landmark of Rosenheim.

In the workshop you can see a closer view.
