After yetserday's picture of the Invalides, here is a picture that I made on the Place Vendome, famous for the luxus restaurants and shops. This is where the Hotel Ritz lays, so where Lady Diana had her last meal...

Anyway, there is currently an advertising campaign by the swiss tourism office to urge rich people to keep going to their resorts. So there are these big christmas balls, as well as Christmas Trees inside transparent plastic balls. Add to that the big disco balls all around the place (and also further on the "Rue de la paix"), and you will have a nice ambiance.

I like the reflects of the buildings on the ball. If you look carefully, you will even see me on the reflect ;o)

PS : some people say that it's the Gιode, so I have to make sure that noone makes a mistake. This was taken on the Place Vendome, it's just a Christmas decoration. Place Vendome is in center Paris, next to the Tuileries Gardens. And la Gιode is in the Parc de la Villette, north east of Paris, almost in the suburbs. ;o)
