PORZH RUZ, DOUARNENEZ, BRO GERNE

PORT RHU, DOUARNENEZ, BRITTANY

A small boat in the Museum-Harbour of Douarnenez, where one can visit many old boats. I get this one because its colour fits with the colour of the water at the sun set. I cropped the picture to give a panoramic size and I cleaned the water on the picture to suppress some wastes around the boat.

It seems that Port Rhu, or in modern breton porzh ruz, would mean the red harbour, because of the red worms fishermen used to collect there as bait.
