Photographer's Note

Some of us will say: "What's the use of such nonsense?", and I would have to accept their opinion.

But this was the way photoshopping was done in analog times, making use of carefully handcropped paper prints and some glue!

I did not own a lens with a very low focal length for my Canon A1, so I stitched together two different photos vertically. The photos had been taken this way intentionally, of course. The occasion does not arise so often, as Chamonix is situated 2800 meters below my POV on Aiguille du Midi, so a very wide angle had to be covered.

In far distance, the Swiss Jura cuts out over mist hanging above Lake Geneva.
