Photographer's Note

Cathιdrale Notre-Dame de Rouen or Rouen Cathedral. Construction began in 1202 in the Early Gothic Style and was essentially completed in 1280. It was completed in the High Gothic Style. A sign of early Gothic is the four stages of the Nave in High Gothic Style their were only two or three stages. During the Second World War the cathedral was bombed by the British and the United States. Luckily the damage didn't destroy this wonderful place of worship. They have a great exhibit within explaining the damage that was sustained with pictures.
