Photographer's Note

I was about to get the last Christmas present and took a “shot cut” due to some nice weather. I was surprised about the traffic on that narrow road – and decided to follow the caravan, which lead into the centre of a large wood.

To make the story short – It’s a custom for a local Bank to give the costumers a Christmas tree by there own choice. I spotted this happy family with the “tree of the year” – Please watch this photo as well – I like the kids face expression (enough is enough)

For people living in place whit out many trees can it seems silly to chop down a young tree (8.10 years) place it in a living room for a week – use it one evening and the drop it some place. But growing Christmas trees quite a big industry around here – and most of trees bought in Europe actually originates from Denmark.

Please take a look at this photo showing the setup – inside was there served warm drinks for the hard working people. In the centre are “Santa Claus” and the mascot of the bank (a bear) together with the tube used for packing the trees into nets.
