Photographer's Note

Around the places where the Butovice fortress was situated, we look at the natural formation of Hemro's Rocks. The rocks are formed by the older volcanic rocks, which, in the Silurian, about 430 million years ago, were formed on the seabed to form an undersea volcano, the peak of which probably reached the surface. Above the rocks we see modern high-rise buildings in Novι Butovice.
