Photographer's Note

Hum is a town in the central part of Istria, northwest Croatia on a hill above a nice valley. This small fortified habitation has maintained all the features of medieval urban architecture.
Hum has a population of only 17 people, but is officially a town, and is the Guinness World Record holder for the smallest town in the world.
This is a part of the city gate.
The Gate of Hum is made of copper. It has double door and it is heavy and festive. Their handholds are in the shape of the ochsen horns. On the two door-knockers the words of welcome are written.
