Bentille

Today I drove Bentille against the Netherlands border, for a long time in East Flanders and saw a part of the Leopold Canal there but in a narrow version.
The colors were beautiful because of the first autumn light between the trees.
Bentille is a place in the Belgian province of East Flanders. Although Bentille has the appearance of a full-fledged village, it has never been an independent municipality in the history of Belgium. It is spread over the territory of three municipalities. The northern part is in the municipality of Sint-Laureins, more specifically in the municipality of Sint-Jan-in-Eremo (and a small part in Watervliet), the southern part is part of the municipality of Kaprijke. The smallest eastern part is part of the municipality of Assenede, the municipality of Bassevelde.

Worth seeing is the Sint-Eligius church and the flax monument
I hope that you enjoy it
