Photographer's Note

A part of the Mφlltall-glacier with an old abandoned building in the fg. Maybe it is just my fantasy, but in the absence of humans presence it reminds to an abandoned station on another planet. I chose BW conversion to emphasize my vision.
In the WS you can see a colour pictures, where the orange of the snow-nets tempted me to keep the colours.
The glacier is retreating to answer Ian's question under my previous picture. Another glacier namely the Grossglockner-glacier is an ample example: some 100 years ago I couldn't make this photo and the funicular couldn't have been built as the whole valley was filled up with ice. Even in 1963, when they built the funicular, it stopped just a couple of meter from the ice. Now you have to walk until the end of the valley.
Here is the picture of the valley: https://www.trekearth.com/gallery/Europe/Austria/West/Carinthia//photo1540631.htm
