Photographer's Note
to continue my "smiles series" (the previous two photos are here and here with a double smile this time. we met these two beautiful girls when walking back from our hike to coffee plantations above the town of San Pedro de Laguna on the shores of Lago de Atitlαn. to get this image, I had to give up a pack of chewing gum. fair trade in my opinion.
very little postprocessing, the only thing I did was to decrease slightly the saturation of background to make sure the lush green colour of the vegetation does not distract from the main subjects.

Hallo Gorgeous Lady,
Long time no see (although I checked out your photos on PF and FB. Sounds like you've been trekking again to South America you lucky gal. And here we get 2 smiles for the price of one. The clarity is superb, beautiful DOF and it's obvious you developed a great rapport with your adorable little models. Have a great day and thanks for sharing. It would be lovely to see you here more often, you're missed!
Hugs

Sweet, simple, pure and honest. With these smiles, for me it's impossible not to return it, Kristine. (And I'm not talking about that greenie, but about the real smile here!)
Keep smiling.

Hello Kristine, this is a lovely portrait of the two young girls, you have captured the bond between them well, with taller girls arm resting warmly on the the others shoulder, however the other arm sticking out is a bit of a distraction for me.
Your treatment on the BG works really well as does the exposure setting.
Well worth the price of a pack of chewing gum.
Best regards Les.
