Photographer's Note
I love this shot for two reasons- one, it shows the amazing patience that people have when inclement weather shows its hand; secondly, I love the bemused look of the man observing the foreigner with the camera.These men were either dragonboat operators on the Perfumed River in Hue or vendors. Since the rain slowed down business, they just chatted, joked, smoked and watched TV. Another scanned image, highlighted and slightly cropped.

Nice shot of daily life in Vietnam!
That look is great! It is interesting that I can see smokes of cigars in this atmosphere. But I wish I could see rain drops, too.
Blue and red colors have good contrast in this wet shot.

This is one of those photos which i can look at for hours. the atmosphere made by the rain and the natural poses.. i havent been in vietnam befor but i can feel this place and this is the strongest point in this shot...
