Photographer's Note

During my homestay in Ta Van Tribe, I have been invited to a wedding ceremony in the neighborhood where I took this picture of the bride.

The Dzay Minority people living in Ta Van Tribe — 15km South East of Sa Pa Town — always dress neatly and beautifully, 24/7, seven days a week, all year round. When I first arrived, I mistook that they dressed for some traditional ceremony, and I was not too interested in any specific set-up. After witnessing the old ladies picking up sweet potatoes with the same colorful clothes on, I was convinced that this tribe has higher education and condition of live.

This is a B&W version converted from original color file. I am not sure which one is better — please let me know. Thanks.
