Photographer's Note

Went on a skytrain and it's rather packed, so I guess this is a good picture to express the daily lives of many people; going to work by the packed skytrain, so tiring. This is yet what should be super packed since it's way more packed than this during peak times; office starts/office ends. Also, this is nothing compare to what is called crowded in Japan, but still, for people who need space like Thais, I would call it crowded enough.

BTS

BTS is the name of the Thai subway system, probably Bangkok Transit System. It was opened not many years ago; less than a decade, and it was suppose to improve traffic. Maybe it did, but there're still significant traffics in Bangkok, especially in the Sukhumvit, Silom, and Sathorn area.

Fee ranges from 10 baht for 1 station, 15 baht for 2-3 stations, and 20 baht for 4 stations, and so on, until 40 baht. 40 baht is the maximum price, so if you lost your card, it's 40 baht you have to pay. There's also 100 baht unlimited 1 day pass for tourists, which seems like a good deal. But for me, I'll keep to the 160 baht for 10 trips (unlimited range) promotion, works best for people under 23 like me.
