Photographer's Note

Wat Si Chum houses one of the most astonishing and beautiful monuments in Sukhothai, a majestic 15m tall seated Buddha.

This praying monk was very picture friendly and invited me to pray with him. Wat Si Chum is a very spiritual place that makes you humble.

By the way, I wasnt able to move back further from the scene as I was blocked by a wall and if I would place myself from the door opening, you would have seen my shadow, it would have been a centered composition and the monk would have been smaller, therefore less interesting.

This is the widest view my 16mm could get and I chose to keep the monk and the flowers in the frame, instead of the statues hand.
