Photographer's Note

H'mong Village
Nan, Thailand

I ran out of battery for my brother's D100. Ironically, I had maintained rapport with the many children by then, and they were gamely communicating with e through their actions and gestures. I had no other choice but to shoot them with my coolpix. This one turned out to be one of my very favorites for this trip.

Three dolls. These two girls were so cute with their H'mong attire, beautiful face and rosy cheek. The smaller one was carrying what I thought to be a piece of cloth. She fashioned out a doll out of it. A hole was created in the middle and a different colored cloth was inserted to resemble a face. All three of them looked cute.
