Photographer's Note

Santiaoling Waterfalls (三貂嶺瀑布群) is located at the New Taipei City Township of Pingxi District, belongs to the upper valley of Keelung River.

On the left: Hegu Waterfall (合谷瀑布) is the first and most downstream waterfall not far away from the hiking trail, however many trees have grown so tall that part of the waterfall was blocked off.

The path to the second Skyscraping Waterfall (摩天瀑布)-on the right, is much more demanding, it was a very wet and damp day during my hike, the normally easy trail had became muddy and slippery. It took me and my parent another 45 minutes to reach here.
The wall was composed of limestone and shale in different layers. Since shale is softer, big chunks of it have broken and fallen out over the years, leaving the giant slash of a cave that swings round behind the falls. It's like a scene from Last of the Mohicans.
Its approximately has height of 41m and width of 7m.

Even my 18mm camera cant framed the entire waterfall, i guess at least a 12mm.

The route to the 3rd and the last will require a steep climb on a round wooden ladder strung by rope, as it was too slippery to risk our life, we just have to let it go sadly.
