Photographer's Note
Colourful lanterns on a rainy day in Gyeongju. Unfortunately, photography of the Grotto itself is prohibited (it's an active place of worship with narrow entrances & exits), so this shot of the lanterns in the fg had to suffice. Taken with a film camera using Fuji 100 ISO film. I have loaded a workshop which might be more to Gert's liking, of 2 kids in raincoats below the lanterns.

J'aime beaucoup la construction de cette image. Les couleurs sont magiques et j'aime beaucoup l'arriθre plan forestier et un petit peu brumeux qui est trθs contrastant.

Here no Chinese but Korean lanterns. It shows the kinship of both cultures.
I like both photos. Your main post concentrates on the colourful lanterns and the workshop is given a human size by the children.

So, you were using film back in 2010. I like the colorfulness and the repeating patterns of the main entry, but I like the WS photo even more.

Hello Chris, I prefer the picture with the two kids in workshop as the main photo instead of this one. The colorful lanterns embellish the ceiling and the place. The pink, the lemon green and the red match very well together. Good pov, excellent sharpness.
