Photographer's Note

This is a point located in front Neva River. There are two real Egypt sphinxes positioned one in front of the other, in this image we can see only one.
A Russian aristocrat was visiting the Holy Land when he saw these sculptures being sold and asked permission to buy them, but bureaucracy was so slow the French bought them faster. Anyway in these days occurred the revolution in France the Russian aristocrat got to buy them and send them to Russia.
They are 3500 years old and adorned Thebes city, the face shows the Pharaoh.
As you can see there was some tourist buses filled with Chinese tourists, it was rare the places where they weren't present in Russia.

Esse ι um local localizado diante do Rio Neva. Vemos aqui duas verdadeiras esfinges egνpcias, uma encarando a outra, apesar de que nessa foto vemos apenas uma delas.
No sιculo 18 um aristocrata russo estava passeando na Terra Santa e viu essas peηas ΰ venda, pediu permissγo para comprar, mas a burocracia foi lenta demais e os franceses as compraram. Porιm, aconteceu a revoluηγo francesa e finalmente o tal russo consegui adquirν-las e enviα-las para a Rϊssia.
As peηas tem 3500 anos e adornavam a cidade de Tebas, o rosto das esfinges mostram a cara de um faraσ.
Como vocκs podem notar havia vαrios τnibus nas imediaηυes despejando turistas chineses, eles eram sempre comuns de se ver em quase todas as grandes atraηυes da Rϊssia.
