Photographer's Note

Yesturday, I was walking with my clients from Maryland (USA) around a nice park nearby the famous Novodevichy (New Maiden's) Convent. It was very nice warm sunny weather during the day and we enjoyed to be near beautiful old convent walking along very nice pond with a lot of ducks (you can see this pond and several ducks on the righ side of this photo). On our way, we found a very nice cute sculptures of duckslings and I caught the moment when one kid started to play there... Nearby this sculptures was the sign made from bronze (you can see part of it on the bottom of this picture) which is read out on Russian and English:

"The sculpture is given with love and friendship to the children of Soviet Union on behalf the children of the United States. It is based on the beloved American children's story "Make Way For Ducklings" by Robert McCloskey. The sculptress is Nancy Schon. Presented by Mrs. Barbara Bush in 1991."

What I can say here? Of course, thank you for this nice gift! It is exists and works (useful for kids and not only...:-)) about 15 years, just one remark, no more exists the state of Soviet Union... Nowadays we are citizens of Russian Federation and proud of it!
