Today marks the start of a three day New Year celebration for the Karen ethnic minority in both Myanmar and Thailand. Even the water lilies seem to be ready to celebrate.

Love this one Andy...it certainly merits comments/points, for what it's worth. Clear light (a wonderful feature of that part of Asia in Dec./Jan.) brings out the colour and beauty of these lilies. Perhaps you could have included more of the reflection, though. Hope you & Leo had a few beers on Christmas Day. Sorry I couldn't make it.

It must be a very good time to visit the country!
Good shot, with a perfect light and very good colours and focus!I like the reflections! Just a pitty I cannot see the celebrations, they must be worth it:)!
